The clash reportedly began when Carter Efe, Kolu, and their crew visited Portable’s bar without prior notice, prompting the singer to challenge their intentions and refuse them exit.
In a video shared on Instagram, Portable accused the duo of bringing soldiers who fired shots at his premises and demanded ₦10 million for their release.
He also alleged that Carter Efe had snatched two of his boys, including Kolu, for content creation, escalating tensions ahead of their upcoming boxing match.
Carter Efe attempted to ease the situation, but Portable allegedly struck him and insisted on the seriousness of the matter.
Police were eventually called after the singer claimed the visitors arrived armed and with ill intent.
Social media users reacted to the incident, with many praising Portable for taking a firm stand while others criticised Carter Efe for visiting unannounced.
