The Delta State Police Command has arrested a 40-year-old content creator, Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as “Odogwu of Asaba,” over allegations surrounding the death of a 20-year-old woman following a reported sexual assault incident in Asaba.
The suspect was arrested after the command received a complaint concerning allegations that the woman was invited to Asaba under the guise of receiving training in content creation.

According to information from the police, Ogbonna allegedly invited the woman to a hotel where the reported incident was said to have occurred.
The command stated that the matter was being investigated, while details surrounding the circumstances of the alleged assault and the woman’s death were being established.
Reports indicate that the woman later recorded a video recounting her experience before allegedly taking insecticide. She was subsequently taken for medical treatment but died while receiving care.
The incident has generated public concern, with calls for a thorough investigation and justice for the deceased.
The Delta State Police Command is expected to provide further updates as investigations progress.
