Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, popularly known as Queen Mother, has issued a fresh legal warning to actor Olanrewaju James, widely called Baba Ijesha, in Lagos, Nigeria, on Sunday, 2026, following controversial comments he made during a podcast interview.

The Iyabo Ojo Baba Ijesha legal threat emerged after Baba Ijesha appeared on the Talk to B podcast hosted by actress Biola Adebayo, where he claimed that Iyabo Ojo once entrusted her children into his care, a statement that has since sparked widespread reactions.
In the interview, Baba Ijesha also reiterated his denial of allegations of child abuse made against him in 2021 by comedienne Princess, a case that previously led to his conviction in court.
Reacting strongly via her Instagram story, Iyabo Ojo dismissed his claims as false and misleading, insisting that he should not involve her children in what she described as a resolved legal matter.
She further warned that continued references to her family would compel her to instruct her legal team to initiate appropriate legal proceedings against him, reinforcing her stance on protecting her children from public controversy.
