Delta police constable recruitment screening starts March 9, 2026, for shortlisted applicants with strict adherence to guidelines and free of charge
The Delta State Police Command has announced the commencement of physical and credential screening for shortlisted applicants in the recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force.
The exercise will take place at the Cenotaph, Asaba, starting Monday, 9 March 2026, and is scheduled to conclude on Friday, 18 April 2026.

A statement signed by the police public relations officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed that the screening will be conducted by the Police Service Commission in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force.
Applicants are required to attend strictly according to the date and time specified on their invitation slips.
Applicants must log on to npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to confirm their status and print all necessary documents, including the invitation slip with assigned table, screening forms, evidence of physical and mental fitness from a government-recognised medical facility, NIN printout or NIMC card, O’Level certificate, birth certificate or declaration of age, LGA/State of origin certificate, trade test/certificate for specialists, and duly completed guarantors form.
Original and duplicate copies of credentials should be neatly arranged in two separate white flat files with recent passport photographs attached.
The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Aina Adesola, reiterated that the recruitment exercise is entirely free of charge and will be conducted transparently and on merit.
CP Adesola advised applicants to disregard fraudsters demanding financial inducements, warning that such individuals would be arrested and prosecuted.

Candidates are instructed to appear at the venue in white T-shirts, white shorts, white canvas shoes, and white stockings.
