Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has responded to criticism on social media over her renewed public interactions with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill.

The actress addressed the backlash after sharing photographs and moments from their son’s birthday celebration, which showed her spending time with Olakunle Churchill and members of his family.
The posts quickly triggered mixed reactions online, with some critics accusing Tonto Dikeh of doing “too much” by frequently posting about her former husband.
Reacting through her Instagram Story, Tonto Dikeh dismissed the criticism and defended her actions, emphasising that Olakunle Churchill remains the father of her child.
“How am I doing too much for the only man who put a child in me?” Tonto Dikeh wrote in the response.
The actress explained that both parents are focused on raising their son, Andre Churchill, through a co-parenting arrangement despite the difficulties that followed their marriage.
Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill were previously involved in a highly publicised separation that unfolded across social media platforms and attracted widespread public attention.
In recent years, however, both parents have appeared to adopt a calmer and more cooperative approach centred on their child’s wellbeing.
Addressing critics directly, Tonto Dikeh urged them to mind their own business, suggesting that many people may not understand the peace that can come with maturity and forgiveness.
According to Tonto Dikeh, effective co-parenting requires respect, understanding and appreciation between parents regardless of past disagreements.
