Tinubu, Oluremi Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu celebrate Pastor Adeboye at 84, praising his spiritual leadership and national impact
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, and Babajide Sanwo-Olu have joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, on the occasion of his 84th birthday.

In separate tributes, the leaders described Pastor Adeboye as “one of Nigeria’s greatest gifts,” lauding his humility, wisdom, and steadfast commitment to national development.
They also acknowledged his consistent prayers and intercessions for the country, describing him as a spiritual pillar whose influence extends far beyond the church.
In a joint statement, the President and First Lady expressed gratitude for Adeboye’s life of service.
“We celebrate the grace of stewardship and leadership upon the life of Pastor Adeboye as he marks his 84th birthday. We thank God for a life of impact and pray for good health and continued strength as he carries on his work in the Lord’s vineyard,” the statement read.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, through his media aide, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, described the cleric as “a true ambassador of God” whose counsel and prayers have significantly contributed to the progress of Lagos State.
He also praised Adeboye’s decades of service, including his role as the second National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria.
The governor added that “Daddy GO,” as he is fondly called, has been a blessing not only to the church but also to Lagos State and the nation at large, helping to place Nigeria on the global map through spiritual influence and leadership.
