Crayon accused Mavin Records of sabotaging his career and even linked the label to his mother’s death, vowing to take action against the company.

He noted that since this association, Mavin Records artists, including Ayra Starr, seem to be struggling to maintain momentum in their careers.
He wrote on social media:
“Dem don see Don Jazzy finish. Crayon even call am him boy chai! Ever since Don Jazzy met Very Dark Man, all the signed artists no gree blow. Ayra Starr look stressed in her last video. Something is not right. Could this be karma?”
