This initiative is aimed at reducing maternal and infant mortality rates by providing comprehensive healthcare services to expectant mothers in Lagos State.
By funding health insurance coverage, the Rotary Club of Lagos is ensuring that these women receive quality prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care.
This support will help improve maternal health outcomes and promote the well-being of both mothers and babies.
Speaking on the initiative, Adetunji Lamidi, President of the Rotary Club of Lagos, stated:

This initiative is expected to have a direct impact on maternal and infant mortality rates by ensuring accessible and affordable healthcare services. The Rotary Club of Lagos is collaborating with the Lagos State Health Management Board to execute this initiative.
