The endorsement came during the 37th Legislative Session on Wednesday, following a motion signed by 26 lawmakers and read by the House Leader, Major Jack.

The members said the vote of confidence was necessary to ensure continuity and stability.

The lawmakers recalled President Tinubu’s intervention during the state’s intense political crisis, describing his role as a fatherly effort that helped prevent further escalation.

They added that his commitment to peace showed genuine concern for the people of Rivers State.

They also commended Tinubu for appointing prominent Rivers indigenes into strategic national positions, saying the gesture strengthened ties with the Federal Government and boosted the morale of political leaders in the state.

Speaker Martin Amaewhule described Tinubu as a compassionate leader focused on repositioning Nigeria through impactful economic policies.

He praised the administration’s strategic reforms, saying they were already delivering benefits to citizens.
