The company’s presence added vibrancy to one of Nigeria’s most celebrated cultural festivals, attracting large crowds to its pavilion where guests enjoyed a range of beverages and snacks while participating in the festivities.

The annual festival, which has been celebrated for more than a century, brings together Ijebu sons and daughters, cultural enthusiasts, tourists and dignitaries from across Nigeria and beyond in a showcase of tradition, identity and communal pride.

Speaking during the event, the Managing Director of Rite Foods Limited, Seleem Adegunwa, said the company’s sponsorship reflects its long-standing commitment to promoting the cultural values and traditions of the Ijebu people.

“The Ojude Oba Festival represents unity, heritage and community spirit. As a proudly Nigerian company with deep roots in Ijebu-land through our operations in Ososa, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that preserve our culture and strengthen the bonds that connect our people,” he said.

The 2026 edition was themed “Celebrating the Legacy of Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona” and honoured the late Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona for his enduring contributions to Ijebu-land and Nigeria.

Also speaking, Fearless Energy Drink Brand Manager, Olaniyi Aderuku, said the company’s relationship with Ijebu-land extends beyond commercial interests.

“Our connection with Ijebu-land is built on shared values and mutual growth. We believe in celebrating the identity of the people and contributing meaningfully to the preservation of their cultural heritage,” he said.

Aderuku noted that the values of Fearless Energy Drink, including courage, confidence, ambition and self-expression, align closely with the spirit of the festival.

One of the standout moments of the celebration was the energetic performance by the Rite Foods activation team. The captivating display drew applause from guests and dignitaries, adding another memorable dimension to the festival atmosphere.

Visitors to the Rite Foods pavilion were treated to a wide range of products, including Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks, Bigi Premium Drinking Water, Sosa Fruit Drink, Fearless Energy Drink, Bigi Beef Sausage, Rite Spicy Sausage and Bigi Flex Sausage.

In his remarks, Dapo Abiodun commended the Regberegbe groups, participating families and corporate sponsors whose contributions sustained the festival’s success.

The governor also praised Hannatu Musa Musawa for efforts aimed at promoting tourism and cultural development across the country.

Describing the festival as a powerful symbol of unity, peaceful coexistence and religious harmony, Abiodun said Ojude Oba has evolved into a major platform for tourism, economic development and cultural pride.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to creating greater economic opportunities for the people of Ijebu-land while preserving the rich traditions that have made the festival a national cultural treasure.
