Primate Ayodele Peter Obi Kwankwaso Warning: Cleric claims Kwankwaso may negatively affect Obi’s presidential ambition
The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned that Rabiu Kwankwaso, the running mate of Nigeria Democratic Congress presidential candidate Peter Obi, could negatively affect Obi’s presidential ambition ahead of the election cycle.

Primate Elijah Ayodele issued the warning in a statement released through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, where he also criticised Peter Obi’s political judgement and approach to leadership decisions.
According to Primate Elijah Ayodele, Peter Obi has been unable to properly assess the implications of his political alliances, insisting that the former Anambra State governor is “too desperate” and not fully attentive to spiritual guidance.
Primate Ayodele warns Peter Obi over Kwankwaso centres on claims that Rabiu Kwankwaso may not be fully committed to the alliance and could eventually act against Obi’s political interests.
“Peter Obi doesn’t listen to divine instructions, and because of this, he has fallen into the wrong hands for his ambition,” Ayodele said.
He further alleged that Kwankwaso is pursuing personal interests and would not genuinely support Obi’s presidential ambition, adding that the situation could become clearer only when it is too late to reverse course.
“Kwankwaso isn’t ready to fight for him; he will eventually sell him out, but he doesn’t know it yet,” he stated.
Primate Elijah Ayodele also claimed that Peter Obi lacks the maturity required for the presidency, while stressing that his remarks were not driven by personal animosity.
“I don’t hate Peter Obi, I love him and his courage, but he is not yet mature for the position he is seeking,” he added.
