Portable reignites rift with Davido over past treatment reaction emerged hours after clips circulated online of Davido celebrating with skitmaker Carter Efe in a nightclub, where the pair were seen embracing and enjoying the moment after the bout.
In a response shared online, Portable dismissed claims of any meaningful support from Davido, stating that their past interactions did not translate into career assistance.
He alleged that during their first meeting, Davido only bought him a meal, while a later encounter at a club involved drinks but no professional collaboration.
Portable further criticised the advice he claimed to have received from Davido during earlier engagements, suggesting it did not benefit his career trajectory.
The renewed tension adds to a history of public exchanges between the two artistes.
In previous incidents, Portable had accused Davido of offering guidance he disagreed with, while also expressing frustration over missed opportunities for collaboration.
The disagreement had earlier escalated when Davido reportedly unfollowed Portable on social media, prompting further reactions from the street singer, who has frequently voiced his grievances in interviews and online posts.
Despite the friction, Portable has at times acknowledged past gestures from Davido, including a reported dinner outing during a visit to the United States, reflecting the complex nature of their relationship.
