Peller Ejected from Alake Palace

Peller Alake palace visit ends in ejection as the TikToker is asked to leave during a tour amid rising reactions and palace concerns

Habeeb Hamzat, the Nigerian TikToker popularly known as Peller, was asked to leave the Alake’s Palace in Abeokuta, Ogun State, after palace officials reportedly raised concerns over his presence during a visit that formed part of his ongoing nationwide tour.

The Peller Alake palace visit took a dramatic turn when a palace chief was seen expressing displeasure over the manner in which Peller and members of his entourage entered the premises.

The moment, captured in a video circulating online, showed a shift in tone as tensions emerged within the palace environment.

According to footage from the scene, palace officials intervened shortly after the initial exchange, directing Peller and his team to exit the palace grounds. The TikToker and his entourage complied without resistance, leaving the premises calmly as instructed.

The incident has attracted attention across social media platforms, where users have continued to debate the expectations placed on visitors to traditional institutions and the importance of observing established protocols. The situation has also reignited conversations around conduct during visits to culturally significant sites.

This development comes against the backdrop of previous scrutiny involving Peller’s visit to the Benin Palace, where authorities had raised concerns over alleged breaches of palace protocol.

That earlier incident led to disciplinary actions within the royal household and a directive for the content creator to present a formal apology.

In light of these events, the latest encounter at the Alake’s Palace underscores the sensitivity surrounding access to traditional institutions and the need for proper authorisation and adherence to cultural guidelines.

As reactions continue to emerge, the episode highlights the growing intersection between digital influencers and traditional authority structures, and the importance of maintaining respect, order, and due process during public engagements.
