Oyo Police arrest three suspects linked to a kidnapping case in Ido LGA following intelligence-led operation and public support
The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of three suspected kidnappers linked to the abduction of Marian Remi in Ido Local Government Area of the state.

The suspects, Musa Ajibola (29), Hassan Mohammadu (63), and Umaru Hassan (19), were arrested on April 21 at Latayo Farm Settlement, Ile-Ido, following credible intelligence from members of the public.
Police spokesperson Olayinka Ayanlade said the operation was carried out after the Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Abimbola, ordered a coordinated response based on actionable intelligence.
He confirmed that the suspects have been connected to the abduction and subsequent release of the victim after interrogation.
Authorities described the arrests as a significant step in ongoing efforts to curb kidnapping and other violent crimes in the state.
According to the command, the suspects confessed to their involvement during questioning, while investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest other accomplices.
The police commended residents for providing useful information that helped the operation, stressing that community cooperation remains vital to security efforts.
