Oyo APC Leader Leaked audio has sparked political unrest as the conversation between Alhaji Akinade Fijabi and an unidentified associate has gone viral.

The dialogue reveals a deep internal crisis within the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), with serious implications for the party’s unity.

The leaked audio captures Alhaji Fijabi, a prominent APC chieftain, voicing strong dissatisfaction with Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu.

Fijabi vehemently dismissed Adelabu’s chances of becoming Oyo State governor.

He referenced a previous conversation: “I asked what Segun had benefitted from him before, and he was showing me a list of what Segun would get if he becomes governor – a position he can never achieve! Inform him that I said so!”

His criticisms extended beyond Adelabu’s ambitions.

“Aji was now texting that I’m a glutton because Adelabu gave me one ram for Ileya. The cow he gave me last year is still alive. I didn’t kill it,” Fijabi stated sarcastically.

He insisted that Adelabu had never truly supported him or others in the party.

The Oyo APC leader leaked conversation also touched on intra-party contradictions.

Fijabi pointed out Adelabu’s return to APC after describing the party negatively during his time in Accord Party.

“Isn’t this the same party he claimed was terrible? Don’t rely on him or your efforts will be wasted,” he warned.

In the discussion, Fijabi questioned the APC leadership in Oyo State, highlighting a lack of structure and clear direction.

“Can you tell me who the APC leader is in Oyo State now? Isn’t he supposed to be the minister?” he asked pointedly.

Fijabi also accused Adelabu of favouring non-indigenes.

“He is busy empowering Igbo and Hausa people, neglecting his own people,” he said, noting that if former Governor Ajimobi were still alive, he would never be neglected.

“If Ajimobi was alive, I would never go hungry,” he asserted.

He also referenced a previously released tape involving Adelabu’s wife, suggesting long-standing internal issues.

“Have you listened to the cassette Adelabu’s wife released before?” Fijabi asked, drawing laughter from his conversation partner.

The most striking part of the Oyo APC leader leaked clip came when Fijabi disclosed betrayal by his own party.

“Ajanaku stabbed me in the eye during the election. None of them came to see me. Only Bro Nure Oja Oba of the PDP came,” he said.

He lamented the lack of support despite being a vocal critic of Governor Seyi Makinde.

“Was it not my honourable and I that insulted Seyi the most in Oyo State? I did it for APC, yet no one backed me,” he added.

The recording closes with Fijabi inviting the other person to meet Governor Makinde.

“Come, let me take you to Makinde. Adelabu can’t help, nor ever become governor,” he declared confidently.

This explosive audio has unsettled many in Oyo political circles.

The candour and tone of the remarks suggest growing frustration within the party, especially among elders like Fijabi who feel abandoned.
