Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, also known as Omosexy, revealed she takes breaks from Nollywood to relax and recharge after decades of working in the industry.

A[/dropcap]ce Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, popularly known as Omosexy, has addressed her periodic breaks from Nollywood.

The 46-year-old actress, who began her acting career at 15, shared on Instagram that her breaks are intentional. She takes time away from the industry to relax, relearn, and recharge after years of consistent work.

Omotola explained that, having been in the spotlight since her teenage years, she values the importance of stepping back to rejuvenate.

Responding to fans’ questions about her return, she mentioned filming two movies earlier this year in Nigeria before her departure in March.

Omotola made her Nollywood debut in 1995 with the movie *Venom of Justice*, where she played the lead role.

Over the years, she has become one of Nigeria’s most beloved and enduring stars, and her occasional retreats from acting allow her to maintain balance while continuing to deliver stellar performances.
