O’Hara doubts Arsenal’s Premier League title chances, backing Manchester City to prevail with experience, squad depth, and winning mentality
Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara has expressed scepticism over Arsenal’s ability to challenge for the Premier League title, insisting Manchester City remain the side to beat.

O’Hara made the comments on Monday, speaking to Sky Sports about the ongoing season and Arsenal’s recent performances.
“I’m not convinced Arsenal are that great. They’re a good side, and they’ve improved, but when it really matters, I still think City will be the ones lifting the trophy,” O’Hara said, questioning whether Mikel Arteta’s side possess the consistency and experience required to sustain a title challenge over a full campaign.
Manchester City, who have dominated English football in recent years, are widely regarded as favourites, thanks to their winning mentality, squad depth, and Pep Guardiola’s tactical expertise.
“City know how to win this league. They’ve been there, they’ve done it, and when the pressure ramps up in the final months, they usually find another level,” O’Hara added.
Arsenal have made strides under Arteta and have pushed City close in recent seasons, positioning themselves as a primary challenger.

However, O’Hara remains unconvinced, suggesting the title race will likely follow a familiar pattern, with Manchester City pulling away in decisive moments.
