The Obasa Eid-el-Fitr Tinubu support message was contained in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Dave Agboola, on Wednesday.

Obasa noted that Eid-el-Fitr goes beyond celebration, stressing that it serves as a reminder of the values of sacrifice, compassion and unity cultivated during the holy month of Ramadan.

He called on Nigerians to remain steadfast in their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration, stating that the Renewed Hope Agenda is already producing visible progress across key sectors of the economy.

According to him, recent economic indicators suggest gradual improvement, including signs of resilience in growth performance and easing inflation following ongoing reforms.

The Lagos Assembly Speaker also highlighted government social intervention programmes aimed at supporting women, families and vulnerable groups, while noting increased opportunities for youth participation in governance.

Obasa urged citizens to continue backing the federal government’s reform efforts, describing them as necessary steps towards long-term national development.

“As our dear President steers the ship of Nigeria to the Promised Land, it is our duty as citizens to stand by him with prayers, encouragement, and unwavering support,” he said.

He further described the Renewed Hope Agenda as a practical framework delivering results across the country, adding that although the reforms may be challenging, they are laying the foundation for sustainable growth and improved public services.

Obasa concluded by wishing Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration, urging them to sustain the moral lessons of Ramadan and contribute to national unity and development.
