Popular Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has addressed the recent controversy surrounding her weight loss. This comes after she posted photos of her transformation, sparking debates online.

Explaining the situation, Isime revealed that she gained weight for a movie role in 2022, expecting to lose it within two weeks. However, it took her over a year to achieve her desired weight.
Taking to her Instagram account, Isime wrote, “Adding weight for a role in 2022 and losing it afterward was more challenging than expected. It took me much longer and required more effort than I thought.”
She expressed her initial confidence in losing weight in two weeks before filming her next project, but her metabolism didn’t cooperate. Consequently, she carried the weight for over a year, spanning several projects.
Isime expressed her relief at reaching her healthiest weight and even surpassing her goal by at least 3 extra kilograms. Humorously, she added, “I would have shared tips, but I like the narrative of my ‘yansh’ bursting, adding a little excitement to my otherwise dull online persona.”
