Former Super Eagles striker Michael Eneramo has died after collapsing during a football match in Kaduna State.

According to a report by SCORENigeria on Friday, the 40-year-old slumped while playing at the Angwan Yelwa pitch in the Television area of Kaduna.
Eneramo, who had come on as a substitute in the second half, reportedly collapsed without any contact during the game.
A source who spoke to the outlet said efforts to revive him at the scene proved unsuccessful. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
The sudden incident has sent shockwaves through the Nigerian football community, with many describing it as a deeply tragic loss.
Eneramo enjoyed a notable professional career, featuring for clubs such as Beşiktaş J.K., Espérance Sportive de Tunis, and Lobi Stars F.C..
After retiring from professional football, he was reported to be running a football academy, contributing to grassroots development.
