Dowman set his first record on November 4, 2025, when he came off the bench for Arsenal against Slavia Prague in the Champions League.
At 15 years and 308 days, he became the youngest player ever to appear in the competition, surpassing Borussia Dortmund’s Youssoufa Moukoko.
UEFA also confirmed that Dowman became the first 15-year-old to feature in the Champions League.
His second record arrived on March 14, 2026, when he scored during Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Everton at the Emirates Stadium.
Aged 16 years and 73 days, Dowman became the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history, breaking James Vaughan’s previous record of 16 years and 270 days.
The teenager completed his remarkable record haul at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
When Arsenal secured their first Premier League title in 22 years, Dowman became the youngest player to win the competition at 16 years and 144 days. Guinness lists the achievement as having been completed on May 24, 2026.

Dowman’s three achievements were formally celebrated at a presentation at Arsenal, where he received the official certificates.
He was also presented with a copy of the Guinness World Records Football Edition 2027, in which he features as the opening player profile in the publication’s “Class of ’27”.
Tom Beckerlegge, senior editor of Guinness World Records Football Edition 2027, praised the teenager’s rapid emergence, saying his three titles before turning 17 were “extraordinary” and reflected why the new generation of footballers was generating such excitement.
The new Football Edition also features several established stars and leading young players, including Lamine Yamal, Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland, Cole Palmer and Kylian Mbappe. Guinness World Records said the 2027 edition was released on Thursday, October 8.
For Dowman, the recognition provides an official record of a breakthrough campaign that saw him progress from Arsenal’s academy into first-team football at an unusually young age.
His Champions League appearance, Premier League goal and title-winning season have now all been placed in the Guinness record books.
