Lateef Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe godparents unveiled as the Nollywood couple holds an intimate naming ceremony for their triplets

Nollywood couple Lateef Adedimeji and Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, have unveiled the godparents of their newborn triplets during a private naming ceremony held in Lekki, Lagos.

The intimate gathering, which took place on Thursday at the couple’s residence, was attended by close friends and family members from the entertainment industry.

Actors Omowunmi Dada and Ibrahim Yekini, popularly known as Itele, were officially introduced as the godmother and godfather of the triplets during the emotional celebration.

Omowunmi Dada later shared clips from the naming ceremony on her Instagram story, giving fans a glimpse into the joyful occasion.

The couple also revealed the names of their sons as Abdul Ramon Taiwo, Abdul Rahim Kehinde Adetona and Abdulrokeeb Idowu Adebare.

Other Nollywood stars present at the low-key event included Jide Awobona, Ibrahim Yekini’s wife and actress Omowunmi Dada.

Lateef Adedimeji Mo Bimpe godparents announcement has continued to generate reactions online, with fans congratulating the couple on the arrival of their children and praising the warm atmosphere surrounding the ceremony.

Reports indicate that the actors are expected to host a larger celebration at a later date.

The naming ceremony comes days after Lateef Adedimeji announced the birth of the triplets in an emotional social media post.

Sharing a video of Mo Bimpe holding her ultrasound scan, the actor said God had blessed him beyond his expectations.

Since returning to Nigeria, the couple has received visits from several colleagues and friends within the movie industry.

Actress Mercy Aigbe and her husband, Kazim Adeoti, recently visited the family with gifts for the newborns, while actress Juliana Olayode also shared heartfelt prayers and congratulatory messages after meeting the babies.

Actor Jide Awobona posted photographs taken inside the nursery as he celebrated the couple’s newest chapter.

Adeniyi Johnson also visited the family and described the triplets as adorable, joking that Mo Bimpe appeared ready for another pregnancy.

Meanwhile, Lateef Adedimeji recently reacted to advice from a concerned fan who urged him to limit how often visitors carry the newborns.

The actor acknowledged the warning and thanked the fan for the thoughtful message.
