JMG posts strong Q1 2026 growth across key sectors

JMG reports strong Q1 2026 growth as it expands industrial, retail, and logistics operations across Nigeria with major infrastructure projects

JMG Limited has reported a strong operational performance in the first quarter of 2026, delivering a series of integrated projects across industrial, retail, and logistics sectors in Nigeria.

The electromechanical solutions company said its latest projects reflect a coordinated strategy to improve efficiency, system reliability, and large-scale infrastructure performance across key economic sectors.

In the industrial segment, the company upgraded compressed air systems at the Dangote Cement Gboko Plant through its Air Compressor division. The intervention followed a full system audit and performance review.

The upgrade introduced eight Kaeser rotary lobe blower units designed for continuous cement production processes.

The system supports pneumatic conveying and material handling operations within the plant.

According to performance results, airflow efficiency improved by 23 per cent, while peak airflow capacity rose by up to 47 per cent.

The upgrade also delivered improved pressure stability and reduced energy losses across production lines.

In the retail sector, the company completed a full infrastructure upgrade for Quick Buy Supermarket, integrating power, cooling, and electrical systems into a unified operational structure.

The installation combined FG Wilson generator sets powered by Perkins engines, alongside grid supply integration for improved redundancy and load management.

It also featured advanced HVAC systems using Trane rooftop units, VRF zoning, and inverter-based cooling solutions to ensure stable temperature control.

The electrical redesign improved system protection, load balance, and long-term scalability, allowing smoother coordination between power and cooling infrastructure.

In logistics, the company expanded its haulage capacity with the addition of 20 heavy-duty trucks under its JMG Haulage division.

The expansion aims to strengthen distribution networks across major commercial routes in Nigeria.

Each truck is configured to carry up to 24 pallets with a payload capacity of 45 tons, supporting FMCG and industrial supply chains.

The fleet includes both CNG-powered vehicles with up to 1,400 kilometres range and diesel-powered units for operational flexibility.

Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, said the Q1 performance reflects the company’s focus on integrated systems that enhance operational efficiency across industries.

“Our focus is on strengthening systems that improve efficiency, reliability and operational performance for our clients across industrial and logistics value chains,” he said.

The company said the projects highlight its broader engineering strategy, which integrates power generation, HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, compressed air solutions, and logistics into unified delivery frameworks.
