The Jetour Nigeria partnership was formally unveiled at a launch ceremony in Lagos, bringing together Jetour’s global automotive innovation expertise and W Motors’ local market knowledge, operational capacity and distribution strength.
As part of the agreement, Jetour Nigeria launched the Jetour G700 at the brand’s flagship showroom in Lagos, signalling the start of full commercial operations in the country.
Vice President of Jetour International, Yuan Anguo, who led the company’s delegation to Nigeria, described the country as a pivotal market in Jetour’s long-term global growth strategy.
Yuan Anguo said Jetour has globalised its research and development operations to ensure its vehicles are tailored to the specific needs of different markets, including road conditions and consumer expectations.
The Jetour executive added that Nigeria occupies a critical position in the company’s African expansion plans, noting that the partnership with W Motors reflects a clear and enduring commitment to the local market.
Beyond the newly launched G700, Jetour plans to introduce a pickup model in Nigeria in the near future as part of efforts to deepen its footprint and grow market share.
Yuan Anguo said the company’s ambition is to deliver vehicles that combine performance, technology and durability, particularly in markets where terrain and infrastructure demand more resilient engineering.
Chief Executive Officer of W Motors, Wadih Nasrallah, assured Nigerian customers of strong after-sales support, stressing that the company has made substantial investments to ensure a seamless ownership experience nationwide.
Wadih Nasrallah said W Motors has established a reliable spare parts supply chain, trained technical personnel and a customer-focused after-sales structure to build confidence in the Jetour brand.
He also highlighted Jetour’s seven-year unlimited mileage warranty, describing it as the first of its kind in Africa and a powerful demonstration of the manufacturer’s confidence in its products.
The Jetour G700 is positioned as a luxury hybrid all-terrain sport utility vehicle designed to perform in both urban environments and demanding off-road conditions.
The vehicle is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine combined with two electric motors, delivering a combined output of 904 horsepower and 1,135 Newton metres of torque, with acceleration from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in 4.6 seconds.
Jetour said the G700 offers a total driving range of between 800 and 1,000 kilometres, a wading depth of 900 millimetres and seven intelligent off-road driving modes engineered for diverse terrains.
