Senator Husain made the declaration on Wednesday in a statement that emphasised party unity, discipline, and respect for institutional authority.

Senator Husain said his political philosophy, shaped under the influence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, places collective interest above personal ambition.

Senator Husain noted that recent tensions around the primary process had tested the party’s internal cohesion but stressed that loyalty to the APC must remain paramount.

Senator Husain commended the interventions of APC leaders at the state and national levels, including President Tinubu and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola.

Senator Husain said their efforts helped restore calm and strengthen confidence in the party’s internal processes.

Senator Husain urged his supporters across Osun State to remain patient and peaceful as the party leadership finalises its decision.

Senator Husain described his aspiration as service-driven and grounded in principle rather than pressure, calling for unity in pursuit of the Irorun Dé vision aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Senator Husain added that Nigeria’s political environment requires restraint and discipline, noting that such virtues are essential for building stability and progress.

He described unity as a powerful force capable of strengthening democratic institutions and deepening public trust.
