Speaking on X, Do2dtun praised Adekunle Gold’s contributions to Nigerian music, citing his classic albums and standout performances, including a show that reportedly shut down a national theatre.
He described the singer’s artistry as “exceptionally untouched” and emphasised the importance of respecting his professional achievements and private life.
“I think it’s time for you guys to leave AG alone.
He gave us classic albums, this guy shut down a whole national theatre; an amazing performer, his craft is exceptionally untouched,” Do2dtun wrote.
The media personality expressed concern over what he called “despicable comments” targeting Adekunle Gold and his family, describing them as extreme bullying rather than fair criticism.
He highlighted that the singer remains “unscarred” and continues to be one of Nigeria’s most influential musicians.
Do2dtun’s appeal comes amid growing online discourse over old social media posts by Simi, which some users interpreted as personal or controversial.
