In an Instagram post, Destiny Etiko said she has forgiven the person involved but cannot forget the betrayal, which has affected her emotionally and impacted her mother.

She revealed that her mother has received multiple calls regarding the controversy, adding to the family’s distress.

“You asked for forgiveness and I forgave u. But I can’t forget cos this is an abomination and a dent to my name over something I can’t imagine let alone executing,” Destiny Etiko wrote.

“I can’t remember hurting u. I have forgiven but I can’t forget. Am pained cos my mom herself has received a lot of calls as regards to this. She is saddened and disappointed that u could do this being a Christian. Pls can u tell the world why u would betray the one you call sister.”

Although no specific names were mentioned, the timing and context of the post have led fans to speculate that the dispute involves fellow Nollywood actress Ekene Umenwa.

The post has drawn widespread attention online, with fans expressing support for Destiny Etiko and condemning acts of betrayal in the industry.
