The artist will not only headline the event but also curate the entire day’s lineup.
Davido revealed the festival on his X account, confirming it will be his only outdoor UK performance this summer.
Presale tickets will go live on March 26 at 10 am GMT, with general sales beginning the following day.
The event forms part of Palace Bowl Presents, a new series running from July 31 to August 16 featuring global headliners, including gospel stars Tasha Cobbs and Kirk Franklin, who will perform on August 2.
Davido’s date is billed as a UK festival exclusive, with supporting acts yet to be announced.
Fans have speculated on potential guest appearances, inspired by the festival’s “& Friends” branding, though Davido has offered no official hints.
Crystal Palace Bowl, established in 1961, is a historic open-air venue in London with a capacity of 15,000.
The natural amphitheatre, which faces an ornamental lake, has hosted some of Britain’s most celebrated acts, and no Nigerian artist has previously headlined the venue.
Davido’s announcement follows the critical acclaim of his fifth studio album, 5ive, released in 2025.
The album’s standout track, ‘With You’ featuring Omah Lay, surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify and earned a Grammy nomination, cementing Davido’s global Afrobeats influence.
