Cubana Chiefpriest announced that he would pay the school fees of 1,000 students and donate buses to the institution through the pro-Bola Ahmed Tinubu support group.
The visit drew a large crowd, with students gathering at the campus venue to welcome the businessman.
Videos circulating online showed a charged atmosphere as Cubana Chiefpriest performed music and addressed the audience from the stage.
In a spirited speech, Cubana Chiefpriest told students that funding education was within reach, describing school fees as “water” and urging them to align with what he termed a progressive movement.
Cubana Chiefpriest added that, beyond tuition payments and buses, he had given ₦1 million each to about 12 individuals.
The remarks appeared to include subtle criticism of the Village Boy Movement, a group widely associated with supporters of Peter Obi.
Although Cubana Chiefpriest did not explicitly call for votes, the comments have fuelled speculation about early mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Some students and online commentators praised the bold intervention, describing the promise as timely amid economic pressures.
Others questioned whether one-off financial gestures amounted to sustainable empowerment.
