Goals from Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres in the opening half handed Hansi Flick’s side a commanding victory at Camp Nou and confirmed Barcelona as Spanish champions for a second consecutive season.
The result moved Barcelona 14 points clear of second-placed Real Madrid with only three matches remaining, ending Los Blancos’ campaign without a major trophy.
It marked only the second time in La Liga history that the title has been mathematically decided directly through the outcome of a Clásico encounter.
Barcelona entered the match eager to respond after their disappointing Champions League quarter-final elimination against Atletico Madrid in April.
Midfielder Frenkie de Jong said the triumph carried extra significance because it came against Madrid in front of the home supporters.
“This title is more special for winning it at home against Madrid, now we have to enjoy it with the fans,” De Jong told Movistar.
Barcelona coach Hansi Flick endured an emotional day after reports emerged that his father had passed away before the game, but the German manager still took charge from the touchline.
Flick opted to start Rashford, currently on loan from Manchester United, in place of injured teenage sensation Lamine Yamal.
Barcelona made a blistering start and opened the scoring inside 18 minutes when Rashford curled a brilliant free-kick into the top corner from 20 yards.
Torres doubled the advantage moments later after a clever assist from Dani Olmo allowed the forward to burst into the penalty area before firing past Thibaut Courtois.
Madrid struggled to recover despite flashes of pressure from Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior.
A goal from Bellingham was ruled out for offside, while Barcelona goalkeeper Joan Garcia produced key saves to preserve the clean sheet.
The atmosphere inside the reopened Camp Nou remained electric throughout, with more than 62,000 supporters celebrating Barcelona’s latest domestic success.
The defeat deepened pressure on Madrid president Florentino Perez amid growing speculation over major summer changes at the club.
