National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, disclosed the timetable in a statement posted on the party’s official X handle on Friday.

According to the schedule, the screening exercise will hold in Abuja over two days, beginning on Saturday, May 9, and ending on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

Senate aspirants are expected to undergo screening at the Abuja Continental Hotel, formerly known as Sheraton Hotel, with proceedings scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m. on both days.

House of Representatives aspirants will be screened separately at Treasures Suites & Conferences, also beginning at 10:00 a.m. daily.

“The All Progressives Congress hereby announces the screening schedule for Aspirants for Senate and House of Representatives ahead of the Party’s primary elections,” the statement read.

The party advised all aspirants to appear punctually for the exercise and arrive with all necessary documents and credentials required for verification.

The APC screening schedule forms part of the ruling party’s internal preparations for its primary elections, which will determine candidates expected to contest the 2026 National Assembly polls.

Party officials said the exercise is designed to ensure transparency, credibility and compliance with internal electoral guidelines before the commencement of the primaries.
