APC chieftains crushed in Lagos at Mushin bus stop by speeding vehicle. Princess Ajayi Showunmi and Honourable Dayo Ajiboye tragically lost their lives

APC chieftains crushed in Lagos on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, in a tragic accident that has sent shockwaves through the political community in Mushin.

According to reports from thegazellenews.com, the incident occurred at Layi Oyekanimi Street, Mushin.

Princess Ajayi Showunmi and Honourable Dayo Ajiboye, both dedicated and loyal members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), were struck by a speeding vehicle while waiting at a bus stop.

Eyewitnesses said the driver was reversing at high speed and hit the duo, causing fatal injuries. The driver reportedly fled the scene immediately after the crash.

The sudden loss of the two prominent APC chieftains has plunged members of the party in Mushin into deep mourning.
