The old-student of association of African Church Grammar School, Ita Iyalode, Abeokuta, Klub 940, has announced the death of a member and former classmate, Dolapo Onimole.
Onimole was involved in a ghastly motor accident and sustained severe burns on her way to Ibadan while traveling with other passengers in a commercial bus on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
According to the president of the association, Akinmade Adeleke Kamal, Onimole was a very active member of the Klubset, who was always ready to attend events in the interests of other members due to her caring and loving nature.
“It is with deep sadness and heavy heart that I am informing you of the death of our dear friend and sister, Dolapo Onimole, who passed away this morning.
“Her body will leave Lantoro morgue by 9am tomorrow for short service and burial at Methodist Cemetery at Ogbe by 10am. Those of us in Abeokuta should please join us at Lantoro Morgue by 9am to pay our last respects to our dear friend,” Akinmade wrote.
The ever-smiling Onimole, after fighting bravely to stay alive, gave up the ghost in the early hours of today, June 6, 2023.
