Wema Bank Launches Season 4 of 5 for 5 Promo

Wema Bank announces the launch of the 4th season of its popular 5 for 5 Promo, starting October 1, 2024, with over N150 million awarded in previous seasons.

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]ema Bank, Nigeria’s leading innovative bank and pioneer of Africa’s first fully digital bank, ALAT, is gearing up to launch Season 4 of its highly anticipated 5 for 5 Promo.

The new season will kick off on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, promising exciting rewards for customers.

Launched in 2021, the Wema Bank 5 for 5 Promo is designed to reward loyal customers for their engagement with the bank’s diverse products and services.

The initiative features live draws, where winners are selected based on a minimum monthly transaction requirement as low as N5,000. With each season, the promo has solidified its reputation as a source of hope and financial support for Nigerians nationwide.

In the first three seasons alone, the 5 for 5 Promo has awarded over N150 million to 2,378 Nigerians across all six geopolitical zones in the country. Season 1 saw 639 winners receiving N31.5 million, Season 2 had 539 winners share N31.85 million, while Season 3, which ran from August 2023 to July 2024, distributed N90 million to 1,200 customers. As the launch of Season 4 approaches, anticipation is high among customers eager for new financial rewards.

To participate, existing Wema Bank customers are encouraged to request a debit card or onboard through the ALAT app and the USSD code *945#. New customers can open Wema Bank/ALAT accounts to get started.

Moruf Oseni, MD/CEO of Wema Bank, emphasized the initiative’s significance, stating, “At Wema Bank, we have made it a duty and core value to provide optimum returns for our customers. This commitment is evident in all that we do. The 5 for 5 Promo showcases our gratitude and care for our customers, empowering lives and businesses to thrive.”

Oseni assured that the upcoming season would be the biggest yet, with more rewards than in previous years. He highlighted the Promo’s impact, stating, “We have made undergraduate millionaires, established businesses, and boosted existing ventures despite economic fluctuations. This season, we are more than prepared to break new ground and transform more lives for the best.”

The 5 for 5 Promo Season 4 promises to be a game changer, with every Nigerian eligible to participate by engaging with Wema Bank through valid transaction channels, including the ALAT app, Wema/ALAT card, and the bank’s USSD Banking platform, *945#.

Starting October 1, 2024, all transactions made through these channels will potentially qualify for rewards, allowing customers to secure significant wins throughout the season.
