UEFA Women’s Champions League Matchday 2 delivered a thrilling round of fixtures across Europe, with top clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona, and Manchester United all securing victories.

On Thursday, Manchester United edged Atletico Madrid 1–0, thanks to a 24th-minute strike from Fridolina Rolfo.
Arsenal also impressed, sealing a 2–0 away win over Benfica, with goals from Beth Mead and Alessia Russo.
Elsewhere, Bayern Munich battled to a 2–1 victory over Juventus, with Pernille Harder opening the scoring and Lea Schüller grabbing a dramatic stoppage-time winner.
Despite a goal from Rasheedat Ajibade for Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid came away 2–1 winners, with first-half goals from Feller and Alba Redondo proving decisive.
Wednesday’s fixtures saw a dominant Chelsea thrash Paris FC 4–0, with goals from Baltimore, Rytting Kaneryd, Thompson, and Cuthbert.
Barcelona were equally ruthless, dispatching Roma 4–0, featuring goals from Brugts, Kika Nazareth, Alexia Putellas, and Caroline Graham Hansen.
Lyon maintained their strong form with a 3–0 win over St Pölten, while Wolfsburg needed a 98th-minute penalty to defeat Valerenga 2–1.
