The arrest occurred on Monday, days after Regina Daniels was reportedly seen abroad with a new companion.
In an Instagram post on Monday evening, Tunde Ednut directly addressed Senator Nwoko, urging him to move on and stop targeting Daniels’ family members.
“You don’t have to keep trying to arrest her family members all the time. It’s enough. We know you are powerful and influential, but it’s ok sir,” Ednut wrote.
The influencer added that the senator’s alleged reaction was triggered by Daniels’ appearance with her new boyfriend.
He continued: “Sir, it’s time to let that girl go sir. She no want you anymore, just leave her and her family alone.”
Ednut’s post combined humour and critique, reminding Nwoko of his senatorial responsibilities while appealing for restraint in personal matters.
