Shalina Healthcare celebrates 40 years of affordable healthcare with a Lagos outreach, benefiting 3,000 residents and promoting wellness

The milestone event in Lagos State showcased the company’s four-decade commitment to improving healthcare accessibility and affordability across the continent.

The celebration brought together Shalina’s staff, partners, and stakeholders in a vibrant atmosphere of gratitude and camaraderie.

Distinguished guests, including representatives from Looking A.N Choice and Pharm Okewole of the Central Medical Store, joined the festivities.

The event featured heartfelt speeches, lively entertainment, and a strong sense of achievement. Mrs. Opeyemi Akinyele, Managing Director and Head of Pharma Business at Shalina Healthcare Nigeria Ltd, expressed her deep appreciation to the employees for their dedication.

She reaffirmed the company’s commitment to making healthcare affordable and accessible for all Africans, noting that the future holds even greater promise.

In addition to the anniversary celebrations, Shalina Healthcare organised a week-long medical outreach from December 18th to 23rd, 2024.

This outreach reached over 3,000 residents across five major markets in Lagos State, offering free medical check-ups, consultations, and essential medications.

The programme focused on addressing prevalent health issues such as hypertension, diabetes, malaria, and infectious diseases, reflecting Shalina’s mission to bridge gaps in healthcare accessibility.

As Shalina Healthcare looks ahead, it remains resolute in its mission to expand its impact across Africa. With its unwavering focus on affordable healthcare solutions, the company continues to ensure that no one is left behind in the pursuit of better health outcomes.
