The incident occurred after a penalty was awarded to Morocco, prompting some members of the Senegal squad to walk off in protest.
Infantino condemned both the players and supporters involved in the scenes.
“We strongly condemn the behaviour of some ‘supporters’ as well as some Senegalese players and technical staff members. It is unacceptable to leave the field of play in this manner,” Infantino said in a statement to AFP.
The walk-off marred an otherwise dramatic final in which Senegal defeated Morocco 1–0 after extra time, with Pape Gueye scoring the decisive goal.
The match had already been tense, featuring disallowed goals and contentious refereeing decisions.
