Senator Mudashiru Husain Felicitates Ooni Ogunwusi Enitan on His Birthday, Describes Him a Unifying Rallying Point of Oodua Race
A leading gubernatorial aspirant of All Progresives Congress in Osun State, Distinguished Senator Mudashiru Oyetunde Husain has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on the occasion of his birthday, describing the revered monarch as a unifying rallying point and a representation of hope for the Oodua race across the world.

The former lawmaker representing Osun West Senatorial District, in a statement issued on Friday, extolled the Ooni’s visionary leadership, cultural diplomacy, and unwavering commitment to the unity, peace, and development of Yorubaland, the Oodua race and Nigeria at large.
According to the former NPC federal commissioner, the reign of Ooni Ogunwusi has witnessed a remarkable resurgence of cultural pride, youth empowerment, and regional collaboration amongst Oodua sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora.
“Asides using the sacred stool of Oduduwa to promote unity, foster dialogue, and drive initiatives that have brought positive transformation to the Oodua race, Ooni Ogunwusi has distinguished himself as a monarch whose reign exudes wisdom, peace, and progress. His efforts in cultural preservation, women and youth inclusion, and interfaith harmony reflect the depth of his vision and compassion,” the statement read.
Senator Husain further reiterated that the Ooni’s reign has become synonymous with development and peace-building, especially through his royal engagements, advocacy for traditional institution rejuvenation, and strong partnerships with national and international bodies, commending the monarch for being a bridge between the past and the present in ensuring that Yoruba heritage remains relevant in the modern world.
While praying for continued divine wisdom, strength, and longevity for the revered monarch, Senator Husain reaffirmed his admiration for the Ooni’s exemplary leadership and his lasting impact on the cultural and socio-economic development of the Yoruba nation.
