SDNON Summit 2025 gathers experts to analyse cyber law and taxation policies shaping Nigeria’s digital media and economy

SDNON Summit 2025 preparations have reached an exciting stage as the Society of Digital Newspaper Owners of Nigeria finalises all arrangements for its much-anticipated annual event.

With the theme “Policy Shifts in Cyber Law and Taxation: What They Mean for the Media and Nigeria’s Economy,” the SDNON Summit 2025 promises a powerful exchange of ideas that will illuminate the intersection between media, law, and economic policy.

Set for 13 November 2025 at the LCCI Business District in Alausa, Lagos, the event will commence at 10 a.m. and feature an array of seasoned experts in finance, taxation, cybercrime, and public relations.

These thought leaders are expected to provide fresh insights into how evolving policy shifts influence digital journalism and the broader economy.

Wale Onifade, Chairman of the Organising Committee, confirmed that preparations are in their final stage, noting that this year’s summit aims to provoke meaningful dialogue and strengthen collaboration across the media sector.

Dr Adeniyi Ifetayo, President of SDNON, described the association as a body of forward-thinking media professionals shaping the future of Nigerian journalism.

He said the summit reflects SDNON’s continuing mission to empower and unify digital newspaper owners through ethical practices, innovation, and advocacy for sustainable media operations.

“Together, we promote credibility, innovation, and collaboration in Nigeria’s digital media landscape,” Dr Ifeatayo said, reaffirming SDNON’s dedication to driving positive transformation in the media industry.

He added that the organisation’s vision is to be the leading voice and authority in digital news media across Nigeria, advancing professionalism and progressive impact in journalism.
