The price hike will affect both new and existing customers, with the new rates taking effect immediately for new users and from October 31, 2024, for existing subscribers.
In a message sent to customers on Tuesday, Starlink stated that the standard residential package will now cost ₦75,000.
The mobile regional (roam unlimited) plan will be priced at ₦167,000, while the mobile global (global roam) package will rise to ₦717,000.
The company attributed the price increase to excessive inflation, which has necessitated an adjustment in service fees to keep up with economic changes.
Starlink assured customers that those who wish to cancel their service may do so at any time without incurring penalties.
This marks a significant change in the cost structure for Starlink users, with the company hoping to continue delivering reliable satellite internet despite the economic challenges.
