Actress Regina Daniels raises alarm over the alleged arrest and secret detention of her brother, Sammy Daniels, demanding police accountability

Nollywood star Regina Daniels has raised alarm over the alleged arrest and secret detention of her younger brother, Sammy Daniels, by security operatives.

The actress took to her verified Instagram page on Wednesday to express deep concern about her brother’s whereabouts, claiming he has been held incommunicado for more than 24 hours without access to family or legal aid.

“Finally, some people now have a video that can make them think they can mock me, chai! But it’s okay. My entire focus right now is to know the whereabouts of my brother. WHERE IS SAMMY NED!!!” Regina wrote.

She also criticised what she described as the inaction of top police officers, alleging that those in positions of authority have failed to intervene in the matter.

“Imagine one of the highest authorities in the police force, or if not the highest, saying his hands are tied! Like, ogini bu ihe!” she lamented.

The actress, who is currently facing mounting public scrutiny over her marriage, vowed not to back down in the face of intimidation, declaring the issue “a fight of power and will.”

“Now this fight is going to be power for power, or rather aura for aura. It’s such a pity. #FreeSammy. For the record, I don’t regret anything. Na only I carry my leg, but this was a route I was meant to take, not my final destination,” she stated.

As of the time of filing this report, law enforcement authorities have not issued any official statement regarding the alleged arrest or detention of Sammy Daniels.

Fans and colleagues have since taken to social media to demand transparency and #FreeSammy, urging authorities to clarify his situation.
