Porn actor, Sophie Anderson, reportedly dies days after fellow adult star husband

Popular UK porn star and internet personality, Sophie Anderson, has died at the age of 36, just days after the death of her husband – and fellow adult entertainer – Oliver Spedding.

The news was announced today on Instagram by Anderson’s former porn partner, Rebecca More – the two shot to viral internet fame several years ago as a duo with the X-rated title of “The C**k Destroyers.”

“I’m devastated hearing the awful news of Sophie’s passing,” More wrote on Instagram.

“We shared some amazing times together and that’s how I’m going to remember her. The bubbly, funny, kind hearted soul who was outrageous on the outside but also so gentle behind closed doors.

“We were very close, and we shared a crazy time together that was totally unique to us. That’s how I will remember her. This is so tragic but I know you are now at peace. I will always always love you and hold a special place in my heart.”

More did not mention a cause of death. The tragic news comes after Anderson’s husband, fellow porn star and ex-footballer Spedding, died in late November aged just 34.

His former football club announced his death online: “Croydon FC are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former player, Oliver Spedding.

Oliver will be hugely missed by everyone at the club and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.”

No cause of death has been publicly revealed for Spedding. But in a bizarre twist, the two deaths come shortly after Anderson was the victim of a cruel death hoax which circulated online – reportedly started by Spedding.

In early September, he made the announcement of his partner’s death online, going as far as to give fans who doubted his claims the details of her upcoming funeral.

It was More who set the record straight back then, telling fans that the Metropolitan Police “have spoken to Sophie and she is [OK]”.

Further confusing matters, Anderson and Spedding appeared to marry at around the time he was fueling the death hoax online, with Anderson captioning this September 13 Twitter post: “Marrying the love of my life.”

More delivering news of Anderson’s passing today has sparked a rush of tributes on X, formerly known as Twitter, where the duo found a cult following outside the porn industry due to their viral videos promoting their adult content:

RIP Sophie Anderson – gone too soon hard to imagine the last few years online without her presence in it. I hope she’s at peace now— Harrison Brocklehurst (@harrisonjbrock)
