In a goodwill message released to the press on Thursday, the former lawmaker and erstwhile federal commissioner with the National Population Commission commended Sooko Lawal’s evolution from a grassroots mobiliser to a respected party helmsman.

“His leadership is sterling and exemplary. The unity and discipline we enjoy in the Osun APC today are testaments to his wisdom, patience, and commitment to internal harmony,” Senator Husain stated.

His rise from the grassroots to party leadership remains an inspiration for every loyal progressive.

Describing the celebrant as a symbol of loyalty and service, Husain noted that Sooko Lawal’s journey from humble political beginnings to the pinnacle of party administration represents a source of inspiration for both young politicians and seasoned stakeholders.

“As a governorship aspirant under our great party, I salute our Chairman on this special day. His rise within the party is not accidental—it is a reward for consistent dedication, strategic thinking, and deep understanding of the needs and dreams of the Osun people,” he said.

The senator also called on party members to rally behind the chairman as the party looks ahead to upcoming electoral contests.

“We must collectively pray for him to have more wisdom, sound health, and divine guidance to lead our party to greater victories,” Husain added.
