Obasa bolsters APC e-registration in Lagos with 5G tablets, printers, and skilled youth staff to ensure efficient, inclusive membership capture

Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudasiru Obasa, strengthened the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s membership e-registration exercise in Lagos State on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, by donating 80 5G-enabled tablets and 40 LaserJet printers to enhance registration coverage across all local government areas.

The items were presented on Obasa’s behalf by Hon. Mufutau Egberongbe, former House of Representatives member; Hon. Lanre Ogunyemi, former APC secretary in Lagos; Hon. Johnson Babatunde, former executive chairman of Orile Agege Local Council Development Area; and Hon. Abdoulbaq Ladi Balogun, Managing Director of Lagos State Ferry Services (LAGFERRY).

In addition to the equipment, Speaker Obasa deployed 80 computer-trained youths to complement existing party staff, ensuring extensive outreach and the efficient capture of eligible members.

Obasa emphasised that combining cutting-edge technology with skilled manpower would eliminate bottlenecks, enhance operational efficiency, and guarantee a transparent and comprehensive registration outcome.

Party stakeholders lauded Obasa’s intervention, noting that it reflects loyalty, proactive leadership, and a commitment to youth empowerment, digital inclusion, and grassroots political participation.

“Speaker Obasa’s strategic tech support underscores his reputation as a leader who prioritises innovation, inclusivity, and the growth of the party at the grassroots level,” said Hon. Johnson Babatunde.
