The NCS Fellowship Lift celebrates Hon. Adedeji Olajide for his impact on Nigeria’s digital policy and cybersecurity development
According to officials of the Nigeria Computer Society, a Prestigious NCS Fellowship Lift has been conferred on Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide, marking a significant recognition of his influence in national technology governance and digital policy development.

The honour was announced during the 2025 Nigeria Information Technology Merit Award ceremony held on Tuesday at the MUSON Centre in Lagos.
The event drew innovators, policymakers, ICT executives and global technology partners who gathered to celebrate individuals shaping Nigeria’s digital transformation.
Hon. Olajide, who chairs the House Committee on Digital, ICT and Cybersecurity, was formally inducted into the NCS College of Fellows, an elite category reserved for professionals whose work has meaningfully advanced the nation’s technology landscape.

According to his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Tolu Mustapha, the selection followed a rigorous review by the NCS National Executive Council.
The council, led by NCS President Dr Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu, cited his contributions to digital development, legislative innovation and the strengthening of cybersecurity frameworks as central to the award.
Mustapha explained that the NCS Fellowship Lift serves as a strong validation of Olajide’s leadership and his sustained commitment to Nigeria’s digital ecosystem.
Representing the Ibadan North West and Ibadan South West federal constituency, Hon. Olajide has steadily built a reputation for championing modern technology reforms.
His legislative work has supported digital literacy expansion, reinforced Nigeria’s cybersecurity systems and encouraged innovation-driven economic growth.
He has led several policy interventions that have shaped the country’s evolving digital environment.
The Nigeria Information Technology Merit Award remains one of the most respected ICT honours in the country, spotlighting individuals and institutions whose efforts continually propel technological progress.
