This cutting-edge facility aims to revolutionise customer experience by offering a range of innovative digital services and solutions, highlighting MTN’s commitment to using technology to meet the evolving needs of its customers.

During the unveiling at MTN’s Regional Office in Maitama on Wednesday, Ogunwa Nwoye, Chief Customer and Experience Officer of MTN Nigeria, explained that the centre is a demonstration of the power of technology.

“This is the first digital experience centre launched by any telecom company in Nigeria. Our goal is to bring a digital immersive experience closer to our customers and businesses,” Nwoye said.

She emphasised the importance of technology in unlocking Nigeria’s full economic potential. “MTN has always been at the forefront of introducing new technology to Nigeria, from 3G to 4G, and now 5G.

This centre showcases how technology can improve lives, enabling customers to experience first-hand what is possible.”

The fully digitised experience centre is designed to cater to the local market, offering services such as SIM card purchases, airtime and data plan subscriptions, and 5G routers, which can be delivered across Nigeria.

Additionally, the centre features a digital kiosk that allows customers to independently access MTN services, with staff available for assistance if needed.

Nwoye also highlighted the centre’s smart home solutions, which enable users to control their homes remotely via data connections.

“This isn’t just about data and devices; it’s about empowering people to live a more connected and innovative life. Through technology, Nigerians can unleash their creativity and reach their full potential.”

ThankGod Otorkpa, Regional General Manager for the North at MTN Nigeria, reinforced the importance of human connection despite the digital transformation.

“Though we are going digital, we must not forget the importance of the human touch in this journey.”
