Amid a storm of online gossip and insinuations of a marital crisis, the Fuji music legend has finally addressed the controversy surrounding his relationship status.
Alhaji Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as KWAM1, has broken his silence following claims by online blogs that his former wife, Titilope Masha, had returned to his home, allegedly pushing his current wife Emmanuella Ropo out.
The unverified story, posted by gossip blog Gistlover, had gone viral, fuelling rumours of separation and emotional breakdown.
Speaking to respected journalist Stella Dimoko-Korkus, KWAM1 dismissed the speculation. He confirmed that he remains married to Emmanuella and that there are no issues serious enough to cause a split.
The only matter, according to him, stems from social media distractions and misunderstandings that often occur in relationships.
“I do not have any problem with Emmanuella,” he explained. “I told her to face her business and leave social media alone.
I am concentrating on a massive resort project. Somebody cannot be in such a big project and be distracted.”
He was equally firm when asked if Emmanuella is his only wife. “Yeah, she is the only one,” he responded. “I told her, ‘concentrate on your business and let me concentrate. In the end, the joy will be for us.’”
The singer made it clear that his ex, Titilope Masha, is no longer part of his life. “Titi is gone forever,” he said. “But should I turn my back on the three children she had for me? I didn’t do anything wrong.
I simply focused on my work. Emmanuella brought this upon herself by being too active on social media.”
At 68, KWAM1 says he has no interest in polygamy or new romantic entanglements. “What lies ahead of me is bigger than marriage talks,” he said.
“I am now into farming and business. It takes 90 per cent of my funds and attention. I don’t have time for women-related drama on social media.”
He also debunked claims that a woman seen dancing to his music in a viral video was his new wife.
“Must I marry everyone?” he asked, expressing empathy for the woman who became an unwitting target of rumours. “She is not my wife, and I have not married anyone new.”
The singer concluded by stating emphatically that he would not grant any more interviews on the matter. “I am not going to speak to anyone else on this. This is the truth,” he said.

For his critics and curious fans, the message is now crystal clear. Emmanuella Ropo remains his only wife, and any claims to the contrary are baseless.
