The 2023 edition of the prestigious Yoruba Movie Gist Awards, owned by Ambassador Gbolahan Adetayo, unfolded at the enchanting RM Place, opposite Magodo Brook Estate, CMD Road, Magodo, Lagos.

The much-anticipated event commenced in grandeur, with the red carpet rolling out its glamorous tapestry around 4 pm, setting the stage for an evening of opulence and celebration.

The main event kicked off with a burst of energy as Queen Madiva took center stage on the bandstand, setting a vibrant tone for the night. The talented songstress, known for her electrifying performances, captivated the audience with her soulful voice, creating an atmosphere of musical enchantment that lingered throughout the ceremony.

Distinguished guests graced the occasion, adding to the allure of the star-studded affair. Among the notable attendees was the representative of Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, Honourable Olawande George Adegeye, whose presence added a touch of official glamour to the event. The CEO of Agarawu Autos, Aare Babatunde Ashaolu, made a striking appearance, showcasing the epitome of style and sophistication.

The glitz continued with the notable presence of Poshglow Skincare Company, a beacon of beauty and wellness, represented at the event.

Harmony Gardens Estate Development LTD, represented by its Executive Director, Mr. Harmony Mosadoluwa, added a touch of elegance to the affair, highlighting the intersection of real estate and entertainment.

As the night unfolded, the Yoruba Movie Gist Awards honored excellence within the Yoruba film industry, with deserving recipients receiving accolades for their outstanding contributions. The fusion of entertainment and recognition created an electric atmosphere, leaving attendees in awe of the talent and glamour that defined the evening.
