Governor Abiodun describes Tunde Oladunjoye’s death as a huge loss, calling him a stabilising force in Ogun APC and government circles
[dropcap]G[/dropcap]overnor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has described the death of Tunde Oladunjoye, the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun, as a tragic and painful loss, stating that Oladunjoye was a stabilising force in both the party and government affairs.

In a statement issued on Friday in Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun said he received the news of Oladunjoye’s passing with “disbelief and profound shock”, lamenting the death of a committed and dynamic politician in the prime of his life and career.
“News of the death of our gallant, cerebral, and diligent spokesman and consultant, Tunde Oladunjoye, is devastating,” the governor said.
“This is tragic and difficult to comprehend. One death too many, yet we surrender to the sovereignty of Almighty God who has called him home.”
The governor praised Oladunjoye for his unwavering loyalty, describing him as a forthright and grounded leader who stood firmly by the causes he believed in.
“As a party loyalist and aide, Oladunjoye gave his all to defend our policies, programmes, and the image of our government. He was an effective and accomplished spokesman whose brilliance and dedication were never in doubt,” Abiodun said.
He continued, “He was courageous, and arguably the finest spokesman Ogun APC has produced. His contributions to our administration’s achievements were significant.
His doggedness, tenacity, and loyalty made him a pillar in building the Ogun APC brand. He was honest, grounded, and unwavering.”
Governor Abiodun concluded with a tribute to Oladunjoye’s character and service, noting that he would be deeply missed by all who knew him.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, the Ogun APC, and his many friends. Eternal rest grant him, O Lord.”
